Not quite the start to the season we hoped for

This was the scene greeting members of the Regatta Committee on Saturday 15 February. The wet weather, combined with high winds, had brought down the line of tall fir trees that were previously protecting the boat shed. Work is in hand to replace, repair and rebuild - but it's not quite the start to the 2014 regatta we had anticipated. We shall overcome!
